0930 26/02/2021 Commuter train derailed travelling Bournemouth to London Waterloo.
A 10 carriage South West train has derailled on the approach to Basingstoke station, at this time there is no information regarding the numbers of casualties. It can be said that the train was very busy. The train is a fast service with limited stops it would have stopped for passengers at Christchurch, Southampton Central, Southampton Parkway and Winchester.
A Casualty Bureau has been set up by Hampshire Police and they would like information of anyone that you know of that would have been on this train or believed to be.
